Winning photos depict life in New Hampshire. These images include community events, such as parades, fairs, festivals and local sporting events; local landmarks; scenic beauty; seasonal pastimes, such as fishing, ice fishing, sailing, hiking, skiing and boating; and interesting artwork.
Judging is blind so evaluators have no idea who the entrants are – or anything about them – during the review process, and artists can submit as many as 10 photos.
Timeline
- The contest launches each spring. Follow our social media and website for announcements of submission dates.
- The contest runs 4-6 weeks every year. Please review the official rules at the start of every contest as the dates vary year-to-year.
- Participants are notified about 6 weeks after the contest ends.
- Calendars arrive in our branches during the fall and are available as small tents for your desk or traditional wall calendars. Quantities are limited so be sure to check our social media and website for any announcements.
- In general, our holiday cards often feature the December photo from that year’s calendar.
